The closing meeting was held with the participation of our Chairman of the Board Mr Abdurrahman Aslantaş, Board Member Mr Sinan Yücel, Secretary General Attorney Çağrı Solak, firm representatives and experts.

This process marked the start of a new period in which our regional industry will prepare for global competition. Based on the field work and analyses carried out, our roadmap has been clarified in the following areas:

  • Export strategies
  • Target market analysis
  • Digitalisation
  • Sustainability and carbon compliance
  • Corporate growth and competitiveness

A next-generation UR-GE model that will set an example in Türkiye is being put into practice. Our Chairman Mr Abdurrahman Aslantaş noted that one of the most critical stages of the process has been completed and that the next steps will proceed with concrete actions to increase our firms’ export capacity. In the coming period, training, consultancy and overseas trade programmes will further strengthen our firms’ competitiveness. We thank all our firms that contributed to the process.

Digital Marketing Training

Our Chamber has added another programme to its training activities aimed at strengthening members’ international competitiveness and helping them turn digital opportunities into trade.

Under the 26URGE003 UR-GE Project run by our Chamber, a comprehensive “Digital Marketing Training” was held in the chamber assembly hall for firms in our UR-GE cluster.

Representatives of member firms in the project took part in the full-day programme delivered by trainer Reha Tartıcı. Supported by rich presentations and interactive case studies, the training reinforced theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

The training concluded with a vision session on future digital trends, sample case analyses and a general evaluation where participant questions were answered.

Through UR-GE projects, our Chamber continues to increase the export capacity of regional firms while providing quality training support so they can adapt to the new rules of global trade.

21-22 May 2024

Responsible Responsibility and International Competitiveness Summit

On 21-22 May, our Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Sertaç GÖK and our project team took part in the "Responsible Responsibility and International Competitiveness Summit" held at the Ministry of Trade, establishing important contacts within the scope of our ongoing UR-GE project.

As part of the programme, we also met with Mr Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General of Export at the Ministry of Trade, and exchanged views on our UR-GE project and our cluster.

Throughout the summit, we had the opportunity to follow sessions on sector transformation, sustainability, strengthening international competitiveness and enhancing firms' positions in global markets.

We also met with valued experts from the Ministry of Trade regarding our HİSER Project, which we plan to implement in the coming period, and held productive discussions on project infrastructure, the roadmap and cooperation opportunities.

We continue our work without interruption to develop projects that will contribute to the development of our members, increase export capacity and support a stronger presence in international markets.
